TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We request our clients to pay attention to the following

• BRING WITH YOU ON PICK UP DAY

• 1. Valid passport or ID ,it should be the original document NOT a photo

  2. Valid credit card ,we accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS OR 300 to 1500 euro in cash for security purpuses for the boat ,this will be return to you at the end of your rental and after making sure the boat is in the same condition ( the amount depends on the boat type and booking duration )

  3. Boat license , it should be the original document NOT a photo, for bookings concerning the Nautica led or Orizon ribs.

• INSURANCE

Boats are insured for third party the renter is primarily response for any damage/loss to the boat and its equipment, in case of damage/loss the renter will have to pay the amount of excess in full or part of this amount will vary depending on the type of damage/loss. The renter will be held responsible for the actions of the other members of his party as well.

• BOOKING PROCEDURE / DOWN PAYMENTS

• 1. For your bookings , deposit through PayPal is requered, from 30 % to 50 % depends on boat type and booking duration.

  2. booking cancellation 10 days prior 100% refund,however if cancellation after that point ,”Rent a Boat Mykonos”will be under no obligation to refund any money.

  3. If port authorities declare that rental is not possible due to bad weather conditions the refund will be the 60% of the deposit throught paypal,deposits through bank transfer are not refundable due to the high bank commission.

• GENERAL REGULATION

• 1. Alcohol is strictly forbidden.

  2. The renter should be 24 years old or over to book with us.

  3. Respect maximum number of passenger permitted .

  4. Customers have to deliver the vessel at our base in the state that was received. The customer will be liable for any damage caused to the vessel by misuse or neglect.

  5. Early return of the vessel does not entitle the customer a refund claim.

  6. The maximum distance of vessel from the coast should not exceed 2NM.

  7. Is forbidden to approach the buoys more than 100 metres , if there are not buoys then you have to keep a distance of 300 metres from the shore.

  8. ”Rent a Boat Mykonos” may at its absolute discretion refuse to hand over a boat or terminate the boat rental period in advance where, in the opinion of ”Rent a Boat Mykonos” the driver is likely to cause damage, distress or fails to comply with company rules; in such event .”Rent a Boat Mykonos”will be under no obligation to refund any money.

  9. The minimum age of a child is 3 years old to get on board.
